Your library.
Your Mac.
This policy covers the Patchlane Mac app and this product website. Patchlane is published by Bipasha Nayak as a BartLabs project.
What the app reads
Patchlane reads plugin names, formats, bundle metadata and file locations to build a local catalog. The Store candidate accesses plugin folders you select. It does not execute plugins during scanning, record audio, or upload your library to a server.
What stays on your Mac
Favorites, keyboard mappings, preferred formats, recent load history, folder-access bookmarks, and imported thumbnails are stored locally. There is no Patchlane account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking in the app.
Ableton integration
When you enable the separately configured compatible bridge, Patchlane exchanges connection status, selected-track information, plugin names and load requests over the loopback interface on the same Mac. This is not an audio upload. Third-party plugins and Ableton have their own privacy policies.
This website
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, signup forms, or application cookies. Vercel hosts the site and may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamps to serve and secure it under its privacy policy. We do not claim that hosting infrastructure produces no logs.
If you contact us
Support is provided through the BartLabs contact page, a separate website. Information you choose to submit there is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue. That site and its hosting provider may have their own data practices. Please do not submit sensitive files, plugin license keys, or passwords.
Control and deletion
You can remove favorites and custom thumbnails in the app and change selected folder access through setup. Removing an app does not necessarily erase all local macOS app data. Contact us through BartLabs for assistance or to request deletion of support information you have provided.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when Patchlane’s data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, use the BartLabs contact page and identify the request as concerning Patchlane privacy.
